In Greene County magistrate court judgments were entered Dec. 18 against Frederick James Lonsdale of Jefferson in three separate cases involving thefts at Don’s Ace Hardware. Two of the cases were initiated in district court as charges of theft-fourth degree; the third was initiated in magistrate court as a charge of theft-fifth degree. Judgments were entered for a $65 fine with a $22.75 surcharge and a $125 Law Enforcement Initiative surcharge on each of the three cases. Lonsdale must pay a total of $260 court costs and $723.72 restitution to Don’s Ace Hardware.
A judgment was entered Dec. 18 against Tyler James Alberts of Jefferson on a charge of theft-fifth degree. Alberts was fined $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and a $125 Law Enforcement Initiative surcharge. He must also pay $60 court costs and $20.48 restitution to Don’s Ace Hardware.
Cases were initiated during the week of Dec. 16-20 as follows: Craig Stephen Burbank of Churdan, theft-fifth degree; and Deannda D. Lopez of Jefferson, violation of school attendance requirement, two separate cases.

Judgments were entered against individuals for nonpayment of scheduled fines as follows (original fine listed): Brian Carter Warnke of Coon Rapids, failure to maintain control, $100; James J. Cates of Jefferson, failure to prove security against financial liability (accident related), $500; *Brandi Nicole Gresham of Coon Rapids, speed, $90, paid fine, judgment entered for $36.50 surcharge and $60 court costs; and Erin Elizabeth Cain of Boone, speed, $105.
The judgment includes a penalty of one-half the original fine and surcharge.
